Carrier and Flight Number AA8 (HNL-DFW) Date and Time of the Incident 4/11/2011; Incident reported at approximately 6:30 a.m. at DFW Description of the Animal, Including Name Male Orange Tabby Cat named Scruffy ; 10 year-old weighing approximately 3.6 pounds Narrative Description of Incident Upon arrival at DFW, the kennel was unloaded from the belly. The cat was not moving, and, upon further investigation, it was determined the cat was deceased. Narrative Description of Cause of the Incident The animal was immediately taken to CVA Metroplex Animal Hospital for a necropsy. The necropsy concluded the cause of death was enteric lymphoma.
